People Over Profit

This campaign is fundamentally about putting US, the people of our city, first. Not greedy corporations, not billionaires, not foreign interests, and not political donors. We need to build a city that attracts and keeps great people, especially in a world of remote work. Your needs and your voice are what truly count.

City Basics Done Right

Imagine a city where our kids get amazing education, our streets are smooth and safe, power doesn't go out, homes are affordable and well-maintained, everyone has access to healthy food, and our parks are vibrant safe places. We believe it's critical to getting these essential things right and building a stronger community where everyone has a chance to thrive. This means tackling the root causes of problems with diverse, effective programs, not just quick fixes.

Growing the Old Brooklyn Community, Together

We're committed to helping our community grow and flourish, but without pushing out the people who already call it home. We want to see genuine improvement that benefits everyone, not just out-of-town builders and investors. This means we must fund, not cut, programs that help our seniors and those on a fixed income maintain their homes. We invest in small business support, and youth engagement and entrepreneurship programs.

Holding Everyone Accountable

We believe that those being paid by tax dollars should be transparent and truly serve the people. No more excuses! We'll make sure our institutions serve the public's best interest, and that justice and fairness are upheld for all. Lies are lies no matter how many politicians repeat them. None of us are above the law.

Rebuilding Public Trust

When our politicians complain that they have budget issues whenever it comes to the services needed by Clevelanders but can always find money for greedy corporations or billionaires, something is wrong. When politicians falsely claim that TIFs don't take taxes away from essential services as they fund billionaires pet projects who donated to their campaigns, trust gets eroded. I will change that, so you have someone in office working for you.

Leading with Empathy

We believe that those in power should lead with empathy towards their constituents. As a doctor, I saw people during some of their most challenging times. My goal was to ease their suffering and help them heal, not to make their situation worse while at the same time having to fight greedy insurance companies to make sure patients got the care they deserved. I will bring that same kind approach for fellow Clevelanders while being tough on billionaires and greedy corporations.
